All Is Well that Ends Well
I used the "chat" to find out what I needed as a base plate for the Ready Brute tow bar. I was told that I needed the Roadmaster 1621-1, with the 1/2" clevis. It takes a little work to enlarge several holes in the frame of my tow car, to take the 1/2" bolts. If you have any problems with everything fitting, call the tech support guys. This is my first tow car for my RV, so unless you have all the knowledge needed to do the job, call them, very helpful. They figured out that what I needed was the adapter bar to get the clevis to connect. Now that everything is installed I can measure my RV hitch from the ground, and my tow car base plate. I needed a 10" hi-low hitch receiver adapter. I ordered that and a hitch electric plug adapter from CARiD. Why CARiD, because they are there if I have any questions. The only place to go if you are the do-it-yourself guy, and I am 70 years old.
