It is much easier to see at night and I have less eyestrain driving at night. I have also been told the truck is much easier to see during incliment weather. Even though these lights are a little pricey, it is worth the money for the added safety."

Appearance Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "Well I gotta admit the HID kit is great. I got them for my 05 ford ranger and installed them with only one problem on the headlight kit (2 wires had to be switched around). Other then that the foglight kit worked great until I went 4X4. By the way Ballast do not withstand beating from heavy duty tire chains. As I was saying though, I live in Northern Alberta where its mostly flat and at night its really good distance. I've recently bought a 2010 Mazda B4000 and transfering them over was surprisingly easy. Same bulb type and everything. When I got them over I've noticed that the lights seem much better in Mazda than Ranger. That is just from the different shaped light unit. Anyway 10k lights for 2010 Mazda or 2005 Ranger were more then enough to make me say wow. BUT there is another thing yet. If you are night blind, I HIGHLY recommend the HID kits. I've ordered a set for a 2006 Buick Allure that my mom drives. She is night blind and does not like driving at night. One night back in February we were coming back from my grandparents and mom was with me. She said she could actually see everything a lot better. I have not got the kit in yet but as soon as I do, I'll add the review on it. so if you are looking for good lights i really recommend HIDs."
