The bed of an average pickup truck is several feet from the ground, and commercial trucks are even higher. When attempting to move heavy cargo between the ground and the bed using sheer physical exertion you run the risk of personal injury, not to mention damage to the cargo from mishandling. You can eliminate backaches, muscle strains and more serious injuries, and ensure your cargo stays intact with a truck lift gate. A lift gate can also reduce labor costs because only one man is needed for lift gate operation.

Our selection ranges from basic hydraulic and cable lifts, to fully hydraulic dual cylinder lifts, tuckunder platforms, and rail and cantilever designs with folding platforms. These lifts are available in a range of load capacities, platform dimensions and platform materials including diamond tread steel, textured extruded aluminum, and grated surfaces that prevent the buildup of liquid and debris and improve traction.

The Original Series lift gate features a fully enclosed hydraulic system enclosed within the lift gate frame; durable, high strength military-grade lifting cables; a pressure bypass to prevent overloading; timed, delay shut-off control; and a fold-down platform. The G2 Series is fully hydraulic and features a dual cylinder, parallel design that applies power to both sides of the platform for consistent operation and stability. The dual drive design can withstand sustained operation yet requires very little maintenance. It’s even compatible with the OE receiver hitch on many pickups. Both units have cylinder mounted flow control valves to prevent the platform from dropping quickly and uncontrollably if a hydraulic hose fails.

The Tuckunder Series is ideal for box truck and stake body applications. The large, high capacity platform can handle heavy loads, yet conveniently folds and stores away under the vehicle when not in use. This dependable and easy to use lift gate features dual cylinders for consistent lifting operation, hydraulic power down function for optimal control, and self-leveling action that keeps the platform level from the height of the bed extension to when the lift gate knuckle contacts the ground. A molded plastic power unit cover ensures reliable operation in any kind of weather and a 5-minute safety shut-off prevents use by anyone other than the authorized lift gate operator.

Another option for box trucks is the Railgate Series, with your choice of the standard model with padded slider system or a steel roller and leaf-chain pulley system for severe use with repeated lift cycling. Both are engineered for higher weight capacities and deeper platform loading areas. These lift gates are ideal for heavy wheeled cargo, with features like level ride and options like cart stops to secure wheeled cargo. The versatile Cantilever Series mounts to the underside of cargo vans and features a two-piece corrosion-resistant aluminum platform that folds laterally so one of the van doors can be opened for access to the cargo area with the lift gate in the stored position.
