Performance Transmission & Driveline Parts

Any equipment is only is strong as its weakest link and nowhere is that truer than with high-performance cars and trucks. Put a lot of horsepower under the hood without upgrading the transmission and driveline and you’re sure to end up on the side of the road with busted parts. Luckily you’ve come to the right place. With our performance transmission and driveline components you’ll be able to get all that power to the ground reliably.

Racing Clutch Kits

OEM transmissions, flywheels, clutches, and torque converters are fine for commuting with a stock engine, but they’re not up to the job for performance driving with a breathed on mill. Each component plays a part in turning engine power into traction, and each has to be beefed up to handle the additional stress from extreme horsepower. All of the parts we carry are from the top brands and they’ve been engineered to deliver the durability you need.

Featured Products

Driveshafts and U-Joints and CV-Joints have a hard enough job transferring power from the transmission/transaxle to wheels and axles that are constantly in motion. Add a lot of horsepower to the mix or steeper driveshaft angles and greater suspension articulation commonly found on lifted off-roaders and the task becomes a lot tougher. Our driveshafts are built with thicker wall tubing to handle the load and some off-road applications feature double-cardan style CV-Joints for added strength and reduced vibration at extreme operating angles.

Performance transaxles, transfer cases, and differentials provide the gearing that enables you to keep your engine in the powerband, for neck snapping acceleration and high speed. A different ratio ring & pinion set is a great way to get more giddyup off the line but it’s also a necessity to maintain performance on trucks and SUVs when you bolt on a tall set of wheels and tires. And to make sure you’re not stuck with one wheel spinning, bolt in a limited slip differential or locking differential and get traction on any surface.

Clutch Kits and Drivetrain Parts

Wheel hubs and bearings are the last link in the chain, where the power gets put to terra firma by the wheel and tire assembly. These parts are often neglected, yet they have the important role of supporting the axle shaft and mounting the wheel, with as little power loss from friction as possible. They’re especially important when you add the weight of large diameter off-road wheels and tires. Our wheel hubs are made of the strongest steel and precision machined, with premium wheel bearings that can handle the increased load, and wheel seals to keep the grease where it belongs and dirt and dust out.

In this installment, we'll give you the steps for replacing the transmission fluid and fluid filter inside your vehicle's automatic transmission – saving you several hundred dollars by sparing you a visit to the shop. This maintenance procedure is a straightforward one, and it's important for the overall longevity of your transmission. The engineers that built...
Recent data from USA Today states that only 6.5% of new vehicles sold in the U.S. are equipped with manual transmissions. The reverse of that means 93.5% of all new cars and light trucks are sold with automatic transmissions. Therefore, the odds are that your ride has an automatic. A less-known fact about those transmissions is that they all have built-in oil...
In this article we'll look at the differences between a "transaxle" and a "transmission". In short, a transaxle performs both the gear-changing function of a transmission and the power-splitting ability of an axle differential in one integrated unit. A transmission performs the gear-changing function only, delivering power via a single output shaft at the back of...

2009 Mazda Miata MX-5 | Posted by Dave | (La Vista, NE)

I couldn't be happier with how the nostalgic solid black shift knob looks on my Mazda Miata MX5 hard top convertible. It has given my vehicle a totally new sporty custom look on the inside interior. It gives the shifting console a whole new look. Very simple to install as easy as 1.2.3. Only took me less than a minute to unscrew my original shift knob and install my new "Custom" made shift knob. I give this item two thumbs up. I would definitely do busy again with this company. Dave.
