24.5 Inch Tires

Whether you use your rig for regional delivery or long-haul applications, its tires should offer considerable grip and be engineered for high load capacity. These components should be specifically designed to provide the necessary contact in-between your truck and the ground that it’s driven on, whether there’s wet asphalt, dirt, or snow underneath. And because regional and long-haul operations are pretty tough on tires, you need the rubber to be really durable and resistant to uneven wear, cuts and tears. Whatever your application, we have the right commercial tires for you to deliver cargo on time and take advantage of reduced operational costs.

These tires are designed from high-quality raw materials and offer optimal grip on dry and wet roads. For enhanced wet traction, there are special tread designs that help evacuate water. Because fuel economy matters a lot, commercial tires are engineered to reduce rolling resistance. The tires on offer are created to increase your vehicle’s handling and driving characteristics, being produced by such companies as Hankook, Bridgestone, and Toyo. As your favorite online auto parts store, we offer a wide range of 24.5 inch tires, so you can choose what suits your hauling application best.

99 Camaro SS
I have owned this Camaro SS since new. It was ordered with the SLP exhaust option and the 17" Chrome ZR wheels. After using up the original Goodyears, I put on Avon(acutally Cooper made) tires stock size with mixed reaction. Great grip at first but eventually the faded away. I now have the Continental tires listed on the car and they have made quite a difference. Great overall handling and ride quality. I personally like the asymmetrical tread design on this tire, and other Continentals I have had. Looks like they cost more but I think worth it.

Understanding Tires

There is a lot of information on the sidewall of a tire. Typically, you'll find UTQG ratings for treadwear, traction and temperature, the size of the tire, the load rating index number with a speed rating index, the construction type (bias or radial), the D.O.T. compliance code, and construction details. On some tires used as original equipment, you may also find a marking that indicates its OE status.
