About Ford Tires

Ford is one of the most popular automobile brands worldwide that offers a wide range of vehicles to match ever-growing and ever-changing drivers’ needs. The company’s lineup currently includes subcompact cars, heavy-duty vehicles, SUVs, and vans. Each class of automobiles has its own characteristics, which means that every model requires specific tires to perform at its top. While sedans and MPVs are usually equipped with rubber designed to provide a smooth and safe ride, racing models like the Mustang or the GT give their best with performance tires built with power and speed in mind. For large pickups and SUVs driving interstates, all-season rubber can be the finest choice. Depending on the road conditions, drivers can choose among all-terrain, low rolling resistance, and off-road tires.

In our store, you can find Ford tires for every model, season, and road. Whatever your driving goals, we have the right rubber to improve your vehicle’s performance, handling, and safety. All-seasons are good all year round in mild climates, but they are useless and even dangerous in areas, where winters are severe or summers are very hot. This is when you should equip your vehicle with winter or summer tires. The former ones are rich in natural rubber to keep the compound soft and pliable at low temperatures. On the contrary, the latter ones feature a high percentage of silica that is relatively hard and can provide adequate traction when the temperature of the asphalt rises.

99 Camaro SS
I have owned this Camaro SS since new. It was ordered with the SLP exhaust option and the 17" Chrome ZR wheels. After using up the original Goodyears, I put on Avon(acutally Cooper made) tires stock size with mixed reaction. Great grip at first but eventually the faded away. I now have the Continental tires listed on the car and they have made quite a difference. Great overall handling and ride quality. I personally like the asymmetrical tread design on this tire, and other Continentals I have had. Looks like they cost more but I think worth it.
