Nissan Performance Exhaust Systems

    About Nissan Performance Exhaust Systems

CARiD stocks a wide range of Nissan exhaust systems. The exhaust you choose depends on what you want most from the exhaust. All performance exhaust systems from CARiD provide three basic advantages upfront. They enable increased horsepower and torque, fuel economy and provide great sound. Injen cat-back exhaust systems for Nissan are made from stainless steel material to ensure durability. They do not succumb to rusting, flaking or chipping. The straight through muffler design used in their construction allows unrestricted flow of exhaust gases, enabling production of more power. CNC mandrel tubing is used to ensure no obstruction occurs along the tubes. Using pipes that are not mandrel bent increases restriction and backpressure. Thankfully, CARiD only sells mandrel-bent exhausts, so you don’t have to worry. Alternatively, you may opt to install a Flowmaster stainless steel catalytic converter. These are engineered for a reliable performance and long life. They are made from stainless steel tubing to resist corrosion and rusting action. The manufacturers also adhere to the highest standards in the fabrication process to ensure that their products comply with the US federal environmental regulations on carbon emissions. Flowmaster catalytic converters produce the sweetest sounds. The engineers apply precision tuning to ensure the sound produced appropriately matches the power of your car.

Borla probably has the biggest name among performance exhaust systems manufacturers. Its Nissan stainless steel cat-back exhaust system is a masterpiece of sorts. The straight-through mufflers used and mandrel bent exhaust tubing delivers explosive amounts of horsepower and torque. They are designed to reduce restriction and promote rapid evacuation of exhaust gas from the cylinders. The Borla brand uses austenitic stainless steel to produce their exhaust systems, guaranteeing durability and ultra resistance to corrosion. Borla exhausts also come with a lifetime warranty guaranteeing against defects in materials and workmanship for one million miles, practically a lifetime.

Unbridled power and outrageous sound - that's what accompanies each exhaust system we store for you on our digital shelves. Manufactured from the premium materials using the latest technologies, they all are ready to complete the image of your vehicle and give you instant horsepower and torque gains. After an exhaust system is installed, your vehicle will roar like a lion and run like a cheetah. Have doubts? Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.

"The exhaust sounds excellent. Much deeper than stock and really screams at high RPMs. One of the welds was slightly at the wrong angle, but a mechanic was able to modify it enough to fit properly. There was also a small dent in the tip of one of the tips; hardly noticeable but still worth mentioning. Other than a few small things, the installation was very easy (by myself ) and I'm loving the exhaust. Not only does it sound great but it looks nice too."

"Can't believe the difference between stock, put this on my 2013 Nissan Nismo Juke, the power is amazing all over the board. Wouldn't hesitate to do it to another vehicle."

"Amazing quality! Welds are great, flanged together system, no clamps. Hangers are double braced and the fit was perfect. Power gain not really notable, but sound is very nice. Almost dead quiet at idle, and has a nice deep exotic sound during acceleration. Definitely would recommend!"

"Nice quality, requires professional install unless you have a welder, correct "Flanged" pipe, and a lift! Installed on a Juke....sound is like a sports car, soft note/not harsh.....sound will increase w/ engine displacement."
