Performance Engine Parts

Everything from chrome valve covers to complete performance engines

There’s no doubt that bolt-on mods like cold air intakes and cat-back exhausts add horsepower, but these are only incremental improvements. When you want a substantial boost in power, you have to roll up your sleeves and get inside your engine. High-lift camshafts, high-flow cylinder heads, turbochargers, and superchargers will all provide significant increases. Browse our selection of these and other performance engine parts and start smoking the tires.

Engine Parts

As you can see, we offer everything you need to not only make more power, but to improve durability as well, with stronger than stock connecting rods, crankshafts, and pistons. You can do the work yourself with our selection of engine rebuild kits, gasket sets, bearings, piston rings, and timing sets, or give your car or truck a heart transplant with a complete high-performance engine. These precision-built mills deliver dyno-proven horsepower gains.

High-performance camshafts will open valves farther and make them stay open longer to fill the cylinders with more of the air/fuel mixture. High-flow cylinder heads have bigger ports that are smoothly contoured for better flow, with bigger valves that allow more flow into the combustion chamber, and they come with stronger valve springs that prevent valve float at high RPM. Turbochargers and superchargers force more air into the engine, where it can be mixed with fuel for a serious horsepower increase, the kind that can’t be realized with any other type of engine modification.

Upping the pony count puts a lot more stress on engine components, so we also have the products that help your engine bear the load. Our performance oil pumps will ensure bearings and other components get the pressure and volume of oil they need. Oil filter relocation kits will allow you to run a larger filter or multiple filters to trap contaminants and keep that oil clean, and oil coolers will help rid your engine of excessive heat. Performance valvetrain components can withstand the stress from high-lift cams and stiff valve springs, while performance timing chains and gears keep all those parts in sync.

After you spend all that time and dough on your ferocious powerplant, we’re betting you’ll want to show it off, so we have the motor mounts to support it, and the goodies to dress it up. A chrome timing cover, dipstick tube, and dipstick handle will add the prerequisite bling, while a chrome and finned oil pan will provide underside shine and a bit of cooling help as well. But it’s the very top of your mill that will catch the eye first, so go first class with custom valve covers. We have the traditional chrome, but also black wrinkle finish with logos, and painted with machined fins.

Look up "fan belt" in any modern automotive dictionary, and you'll typically find a definition that reads, "An endless belt used to transmit power from a crankshaft-driven pulley to a pulley driving the fan, alternator, or other engine accessory. It is usually V-shaped in cross section with the point of the V fitting into a groove in the pulley".
Does your ride have timing gears, a timing belt, or a timing chain? Is one better than the other? And perhaps most importantly, do I need to be concerned about the recommendation to replace the timing belt at a certain mileage interval? Welcome to our discussion of "engine timing".
Internal combustion engines are extremely complex and feature a wide array of components that rotate, move up and down, pump, seal, or remain stationary. When repairing or rebuilding your engine, you will come across many different terms when referencing repair manuals and ordering parts. We know it can be confusing, especially when the repair is complex. Even if...

These bolts are amazing way better than the stock bolts that were put on. If you are rebuilding an engine which I was Chevy 350 V8 I put these bolts on with my new oil pan it looked amazing. My old bolts were all rusted and did not look good. These will not rust for a very long time, and are designed to grip the pan, which you can see on the bolt. The Oil pan was hard to come off, because of the flywheel, but I did get it off. It probably took 10 min. But the result is very good.
