CARDONE's formula is a combination of family tradition, quality and experience. It all started in 1970 in a small row house in North Philadelphia by the father and son team, M. Cardone, Sr. and M. Cardone, Jr. from remanufacturing windshield wiper motors. Over the years, the company has grown from 6 employees into an internationally renowned remanufacturer employing over 6,000 members of staff, with operations in California, Texas, Mexico, and Canada.
The aggressive growth plan established by CARDONE has taken them a long way from the row house in North Philadelphia, but the culture of the company still reflects the small family-run business principles and the mentality that was imprinted on the company as its inception. For his pioneering excellence in remanufacturing, M. Cardone, Sr. was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1994 and joined other industry leaders such as Lee Iacocca, Carl Benz, and Eiji Toyota.
CARDONE remains a family operated company that provides over 46,000 SKUs of automotive hard parts in seven product divisions including brakes, drivetrain, electronics, fuel/air systems, motors, pumps, and steering. And it seems like they aren't going to stop there. Raised in the traditions of his father and grandfather, Michael Cardone III, the President, intends to carry the CARDONE tradition into the ever-evolving future, strengthening the company's presence in the United States and internationally.
