The first emblems were the auto makers’ logos that adorned the grilles on early cars. Many of these vehicles also had distinctive hood ornaments that identified the manufacturer. Over the years such ornamentation evolved to include model names or numbers, engine size, horsepower, trim level, sports models and special editions, and much more. Many make and model logos have become iconic symbols treasured by enthusiasts and known throughout the world.

A favorite technique of auto customizers has been to strip the OE emblems from their projects, claiming it results in a “cleaner” look, and also, no doubt, to show that the car is more their creation and less factory production. That approach has its place, but if you’re proud of what you drive or have your own ideas about customizing your car, we have a huge selection of emblems, badges, letters, and numbers to help you realize your automotive dreams.

We have the goods, whether you want to replace worn and faded OE emblems, upgrade to a better finish and material, or outfit your ride with badges, letters and numbers the factory never dreamed of. Our replacement emblems are so authentically made, they’re indistinguishable from the ones installed on the assembly line. Or for a step above OE, treat your ride to emblems or lettering precision cut from 304 stainless steel or billet aluminum. We have these custom options in all the popular make, model, engine size, and trim level/edition logos and scripts, chromed or mirror polished, and even with reflective crystals.

But if you want to really personalize your car or truck, why not add custom engine size or 4x4 emblems, lifestyle, special interest, or sports team logos. We have traditional automotive related emblems like crossed checker flags, “HEAVY DUTY”, “SPECIAL EDITION”, and “SPORT” to wilder creations like skulls, animals, Transformers, flags, iron crosses, and college/professional sports team logos. And if you don’t see the particular phrase or engine/horsepower figure you’re looking for check out our individual letters and numbers. With these chrome or chrome and crystal 3D digits you can create your own unforgettable monikers.

Our emblems, letters, and numbers will provide a premium appearance on your ride you’ll be proud to display, today and for years to come. The stainless steel has a high chromium content for resistance to corrosion, the ABS plastic is impact, chemical, and heat resistant, and triple chrome plating ensures a durable, long lasting finish. Installation is a breeze because no drilling or fasteners are needed for most emblems. They’re attached with 3M acrylic foam tape, an adhesive so strong and reliable that it’s used by the vehicle manufacturers to attach trim at the factory.

    Chrome Trim: Overlay vs. Replacement
One of the more eye-catching tricks automobile manufacturers have used to differentiate higher-priced luxury versions of a car model from value-priced versions of it has been to vary the amount of chrome trim on the vehicle. Base model cars and trucks (also known as "strippers" or "entry level") have little if any chrome while luxury and top-of-the-line ones have the most chrome. In years past, plain Jane cars were simply painted in all areas instead of being chromed. In more recent decades, the low-cost replacement of choice has become black plastic. This makes base models easier than ever to spot because the eye catches hard on black plastic. Completely missing is the pleasing chrome finish on grilles, door trim, mirror assemblies, light bezels, and other areas. Base models end up looking more like fleet vehicles or work trucks than anything prestigious, especially to people who aren't automotive enthusiasts.

Tailgate Tundra Lettering
The new 2016 Tundra ad the Tundra name stamped on the tailgate but it is the same color as the truck so if isn't very nice looking. You add these chrome letters and it really makes a big difference. It makes the tailgate stand out. It is truly the finish the truck needs. I don't know why Toyota didn't take a lesson from you and do it first but you sure have the right idea!
