C32 AMG Brake Swap for a CLK350!
Ordered and upgraded my 06 CLK350 with stock base brakes to the 4 piston Brembo front and 2 piston Brembo rears from the 02-04 C32 AMG. Also installed new SS brake lines and the car stops like I paid $3k+ for a big brake kit. Good product, bleed screws are a little cheap, but they work fine.

Leaking Caliper
I ordered two rear calipers for a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. They were reconditioned and appeared almost like new except one had to be returned because it did not have a vent valve in the piston. Cardone was responsive to the problem and replaced the caliper. I have just installed the calipers and after the brakes were bled yesterday the left rear is leaking brake fluid. I have not as yet contacted Cardone for yet another replacement.

2000 Toyota Landcruiser
Parts were perfect match to OEM parts removed. Time will tell on overall quality but everything appears to be really nice and functioning well after installation.

Finish Doesn’t Hold Up
Cardone says the use a special coating on the caliper. It looked fantastic when it arrived and after installation. The caliper itself was a remanufactured original and fit perfectly. As for the finish, it didn’t hold up for even a week before it was covered in rust spots. Two weeks later and the whole caliper looked awful. But they still work and aren’t binding, so there is that.

Sadly the hardware that came with it wasn’t for this caliper. The guide pin that holds the caliper in place was larger than the holes it needed to fit in, additionally it was larger than the pin from the original caliper. I just reused the pin from the original caliper. As for the finish, it didn’t hold up for even a week before it was covered in rust spots. Two weeks later and the whole caliper looked awful. But they still work and aren’t binding, so there is that.
