Nice handling and smooth, well-controlled ride give the 2013 Ford Fiesta some benefits over its rivals. Whether you are driving along the highway or curvy mountain roads, there is always a good response from the engine and steering system making your drive easy and pleasant. As the only components providing the connection between your car and asphalt, the tires are also crucial. The traction they create ensures a smooth and quiet ride, reasonably short stopping distances, and good control over your auto when driving on slippery roads. But if worn-out, rubber cannot ensure the right amount of traction, which can put your safety at risk.
Only timely replacement can help, but just getting a new set of tires is not enough, as they have to suit the weather conditions of your locality. The tread of Summer tires provides good contact with the road in a warm season, which means better braking and cornering. Designed in a somewhat different way, all-season rubber provides good performance both in the summer and winter, but its tread is not really suitable for handling the snow. Winter tires feature wider lateral grooves and deeper channels meant to improve drivability on snow.
