Chassis Max Sway Bar Mount Brace by Hotchkis®. This is one side-to-side brace that bolts between left and right side chassis frame members at the rear of the vehicle. It adds rigidity, reduces chassis flex, and prevents frame twisting under heavy power - giving you faster cornering speeds with a much higher level of stability when the power is on. Designed and manufactured with precision tolerances to fit the contours of your make and model frame, this brace is especially recommended for convertibles. Crafted from 10-gauge reinforced steel with .12" thickness for maximum strength and rigidity. No cutting or modifying of the vehicle floorpan is required. Gloss black powder coat finish resists corrosion and deterioration, and stainless steel hardware provides freedom from corrosion.

If you have a classic muscle car, you know it was built before today’s knowledge was gained about structural rigidity. Because powerful motors and grippy tires have a frame-twisting effect under high torque loads, Hotchkis offers the Chassis Max Sway Bar Brace that bolts between left-and right-side vehicle chassis beams behind the rear axle. For the serious track racer, this eliminates the rear chassis flex and frame twisting under heavy power that make the vehicle less stable to drive. It also reduces rear axle shift. The brace is compatible with any existing Hotchkis Rear Sway bars, and can be used as a mounting point for sway bar end links as well.
The Max Sway Bar Brace is incredibly strong – steel sections are crafted from 10-gauge reinforced steel with .12” thickness, then joined by a Tungsten Gas Insert (TIG) welding process that provides clean, even welds for uniform rigidity over the entire structure. Inconsistencies which cause weak points and areas prone to metal fatigue or failure are all but eliminated. An outer finish of durable powder coat is applied to ensure peeling, discoloration, and deterioration are eliminated while long-term corrosion protection is ensured. Should you choose to remove the rear chassis brace at a future point for any reason, stainless steel hardware will make it easy because there won’t be a need to deal with seized and rusted nuts or bolts. Hotchkis builds all components in the United States, and backs them against failure due to manufacturing defects for three years.
