Product Details

Exhaust Systems by Flowmaster®. The Patented D-Port design of the Scavenger X-Pipe Kit creates a low-pressure area where the exhaust pulse from one pipe helps pull the next exhaust pulse from the other pipe out of the cylinder, to produce a significant increase in torque and horsepower. The design retains the classic deep Flowmaster exhaust tone. (Other X-Pipe designs give a higher pitch tone.)

The Universal Scavenger X-Pipe Kits mount ahead of the mufflers in place of a traditional H-pipe and can provide significant torque improvement. The patented Scavenger D-port technology functions exceptionally well on modified GM, Ford, Mopar and "Muscle Car" applications while maintaining the classic Flowmaster sound.

The exhaust gases from an engine carry considerable energy. This energy can be put to use through careful design of the components that make up the exhaust system. Flowmaster has put a lot of R&D-efforts into the crucial components where gases from different cylinders join. If these parts of the exhaust system are improperly designed, the exhaust forces from the different cylinders can create uncontrolled turbulence that robs the engine of torque and power. Flowmaster's patented D-port design ensures that the force in the exhaust pulses is properly used to improve scavenging. With the D-port design, the exhaust pulses mainly stay in the same pipe, with the D-port acting as an air pump, creating a low-pressure zone in the adjoining pipe. This low-pressure zone pulls the oncoming exhaust pulse in the second pipe out from the engine, and when this pulse passes the D-port, it does the same for the exhaust in the first pipe.

The Scavenger Series X-pipe is also designed to let certain frequencies of pressure and sound waves cross over between the pipes, to cancel each other out. This reduces interior sound in the vehicle, and the energy lost when the sound waves collide helps create the low-pressure area in the X-pipe that is key to its positive effect on exhaust scavenging.

Perfect Exhaust for my 2024 Ford Bronco Sport!
Love the deep sound from the exhaust now! Tons better than stock, better gas mileage, and better acceleration too. Had it professionally installed, and it was done in about 20 minutes! Definitely recommend Flowmaster Products for ease of installation and high quality!

Flowfx Exhaust
It’s a great exhaust for the price. Install was as easy as can be. It is a bit louder than most aftermarket exhausts but won’t wake the neighbors up in the morning. The only thing that I found that it lacks in is the tip will start to fade and the powder coat will start to flake and the tip turns into chrome instead of black. Other than that it is a great exhaust for the price.

Does Its Job, For a Bit
Thought it was going to be an easy install, didn't turn out to be, clamps won't clamp down hard enough to keep pipes together fell out after one drive on the highway

Great Value
This went on a 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn. The instructions were easy to read, and the installation was a breeze. Quality of parts is top notch, and fitment was right in the money. I’m impressed with how well this resonator delete kit woke up my Ram truck. Great sound inside and outside the cabin at low speeds, and it settles down nicely at highway speeds.

I Love This Exhaust
Install was a little bit difficult as I had to cut down one of the pipes because they sent it with a longer one assuming it's in case someone has the long bed model. Took me about 45 minutes to an hour to install it's literally 2 pieces of piping. Cons for some (not me) this exhaust is very loud especially on the freeway doing 75+ there is allot of cabin noise (drone) from it. Aside from that I love this exhaust. I do kinda wish I went with the outlaw full cat-back exhaust though I think it would be a little easier on the drone you get on freeway since the exit is further back. But I am happy with my purchase.

Unleash the Beast!
I got my 2018 Tundra 345ci or (5.7l) V8 with its single standard stock setup which is a 4:2:1. Sounded about as loud as a Prius. So I ordered the TRD dual muffler kit with 2, 27" glasspacks loaded with fiberglass noise canceling packing...always get a 2021 or older if you actually want a V8 plus the beauty of the Tundra is they are true dueled from factory, however, they tie a Y pipe in to make it a single out. The TRD system was barely any different than stock except for a slight more rumble on startup. After 2 years I said screw it and went with a Flowmaster outlaw cat back angled exits out behind rear wheels, for towing in mind. THAT is how a 5.7l V8 Tundra should sound baby! 2.5" on the mid pipes going into a dual in dual out flowmaster super 10 with dual 3" pipes running out. However, I feel they went a little large on the rear pipes. 3" each is a total of 6" piping. So I noticed a little torque loss. However, the sound is 100 percent worth it. What I lost in tourqe I gained in HP. Also running a TRD CAI. I think Flowmaster should redesign the catback kit to follow stock piping a little better. They should have had 2 1/4 on both mid pipes and ran a max of 2 1/2 out the rears however I would have ran 2 1/4 thru and thru. Noticable back pressure loss. With that being said, I am very happy with the Flowmaster super 10 dual in 2.5 dual out 3"! Makes the truck sound like it looks. Aggressive. Not recommended for children or wives as when you get on it, the entire interior rattles and vibrates if you dont feather the pedal. It's a beast at WOT. True Racing Muffler. Much better than ANY other Tundra setup I have heard. Better than Cravens, better than widow makers, equivalent approximately to cherry bomb extreeme. Have not heard powersticks yet so I can't compare.

I have had this exhaust installed for about a month, whatever coasting they used has already started coming off and now rust is starting to show, terrible quality, please save your money and buy something else!

Good Bolt On Kit
This is a good bolt on kit. Just installed on my 5.7 ram yesterday. Seems to be good quality. But whoever rates the sound level gave it loud aggressive. I would rate it moderate/medium. I deffintly like the black tips, better than the chrome!
