Worked Great
Installed on a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500, unit came in perfect shape and was an easy plug and play install, no dealer programming required, would buy again if one of my other vehicles fails, about the same price of having one rebuilt but none of the shipping hassles and wait time.

Works Great
The product arrived in a new condition. Had no problems installing. Worked perfectly out of the box. CARiD has fast shipping, good packaging, and great service after the sale. Would definitely purchase again.

I live in Zurich, Switzerland, but I have a vehicle in the south of Spain. This vehicle needs this piece. Can I buy the piece today and on the 25th of June send back the core? Best regards. Luis

ABS Assembly
The part looked almost new. The problem I had was that the plunger must have been stuck because I had a very hard time getting the brake fluid to come through to be able to bleed the brakes. the fluid was new and clean including the master cylinder so dirt or debris was not an issue. I had to just let it sit for about a week until fluid finally seeped through. I was then able to finish bleeding the brakes. It works fine now.

Fixed My Brake Problem
1988 Chevy C1500 spongy brakes and brake light was on and it threw a code that suggested it was the "isolation dump valve". My Chilton Manual for the truck definitely called this part an isolation dump valve, but after a lot of searching I found that other people call it the ABS Hydraulic Assembly. Ordered this from CARiD hoping and it worked. I bled the brakes well before installing it, using new brake fluid, switched out the old with the new, bled brakes again and yes the brake light went out and the brakes feel much more normal. I am not a professional mechanic but have always fixed this Chevy pick-up myself. There was nothing overly complicated about the install, just time consuming with all the brake bleeding and such. It was not a cheap part but worth the price to get the truck going again.
