2006 Ford Focus Tires

Available as a sedan and hatchback, the Focus can serve multiple purposes from daily commuting to and from work to long-distance errands. This European-style car is very maneuverable which makes it a common choice for city drivers. Just like in any other vehicle, its tires play a crucial role in defining its performance and safety. What’s more, the right rubber can significantly improve your driving experience. Depending on specific weather and road conditions, different types of rubber are available. Some models are designed to reduce fuel consumption, others provide extra grip in rocky, muddy, and just generally slippery situations.

Although many Focus owners go with fuel efficient tires, their performance counterparts are also popular. All of them are made from quality rubber compounds that ensure durability for prolonged service life but differ in tread pattern designs. Fuel efficient rubber has a low rolling resistance design that improves fuel consumption without compromising ride comfort. Performance tires have special tread patterns that improve grip during acceleration and cornering. In our store, we have these and other 2006 Ford Focus tires including those specifically designed to cope with harsh winters or hot summers.

Quality Tires
Decided to try the Iron Man tires. I normally only run a Michelin tire but had heard these tires were great for the money. All four balanced really easy. All with less than 1.5oz per tire. One tire actually did not even require weight to balance which is impressive. They ride quiet and smooth. They feel nice a sticky going around curves. So have to give these tires 5 stars.

Do Not Buy - "Cold Cracking"
I have a set of 4 of these tires for a 2014 Mustang manufactured 4021 and 4121. I have driven on them for 1 full summer of 2022 and the car was then stored for the winter in my insulated garage in Alberta, Canada. The garage maintains 0-5C through the coldest parts of the winter. I have noticed both of my front tires have cracking all across the tread and the rear tires are fine. Reaching out to Pirelli support they say this is called "Cold Cracking" and that these tires are not to be used below 7C. I have told them the car is stored from fall to spring and doesn't get driven below 7C. They say its my fault having the car stored in a garage below 7C which caused the tires to crack and its not covered under warranty. Somehow only my 2 front tires are cracked and the rears are fine. Pirelli says it's not safe to drive on cold cracked tires and they need to be replaced. So now I have 2 brand new tires with 8mm tread depth that are garbage. DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES!!!!
