Rain Guards

Wind Deflectors, Window Visors, Smoke, Chrome

Any driver who likes to cruise with the windows down has experienced the scenario: You’re driving along and suddenly it starts to rain, not a downpour but just enough to get the inside of the car wet. Without Rain Guards there’s no choice but to put the windows up and turn on the A/C; cooped up by the whim of the weather. But with rain guards, you can defy the weather and leave the windows down enough to stay dry and still enjoy the fresh air.

You stay dry while breathing healthy, fresh air. And when you have to park in the sun on a hot summer day, they let you crack your windows open to let interior heat escape. But AVS® didn’t just focus on functionality, they know you want style as well, so VentVisors are available in tinted, smoke and chrome finish to make sure your vehicle looks great, rain or shine.

With their unmatched quality, design and function, Wade® sets the standard for Wind Deflectors. Being a product of the computer-aided design and reliable construction, Wade® In-Channel Wind Deflectors offer precise fit and long lasting durability. They are perfect for providing fresh air circulation in any weather conditions. Wade® Slim Design Wind Deflectors not only let you drive through the rain in fresh air comfort, they reduce wind noise and sun glare. Each Slim Design Wind Deflector is precisely measured to ensure a perfect fit.

When it comes to installation, there are two different options for wind deflectors to choose from. Tape-on deflectors are applied over the frames of your car's windows using 3M adhesive tape. As these visors are not in contact with the window glass, they won't scratch it or affect the window operation. The in-channel deflectors, as their name suggests, are tucked into the window channel with no adhesive or tools required. The decision what option to choose depends on your personal taste as well as the amount of time and effort you are ready to devote to installation.

Do Rain Guards Really Work?Do Rain Guards Really Work?
With a rain guard in place, the car can be ventilated when parked, without any worries about changes in the weather. If they function well for this purpose is very much dependent on the vehicle they are mounted on, and the way the air streams around the particular vehicle. If this is the way you intend to use the guards, try to find someone with wind deflectors...
You don’t realize how effective rain guards are until you experience them, and once you have them on your car or truck you wonder how you got along without them. Wind deflectors can be installed in the window channel or they can be taped to the body. Your preference depends on how much you like the way a particular wind deflector looks on your car or truck.
