Do Rain Guards Really Work?Do Rain Guards Really Work?
With a rain guard in place, the car can be ventilated when parked, without any worries about changes in the weather. If they function well for this purpose is very much dependent on the vehicle they are mounted on, and the way the air streams around the particular vehicle. If this is the way you intend to use the guards, try to find someone with wind deflectors mounted on the same model vehicle you have, and ask for a test ride.

"Received deflectors in good shape and installed same day. Install time for all windows about 45 min. - very easy to install. Fit was outstanding and looks like factory. In-channel mount is the only way to go. Beats outside mount with tape. Would buy again when needed good product. Thanks!"

"Very good quality, manufacturing, and appearance. Warning: I was not able to install these myself on my vehicle (2012 Hyundai Veloster) without fear of breaking them. There is no adhesive used, these mount between the door metal and outer window sill and have to be "flexed" to fit into place. I've had mine for two weeks, and after trying once I gave up and will be taking these to the local WeatherTech distributor to have their team install them. Also, somewhat pricey for a two piece set, but this is the only manufacturer who makes these for my vehicle, not even Hyundai sells them. "

"I was impressed that these guards were not the typical bubble-round shape. They look like they were made to fit my car with the sleek lines and edged shaping. Awesome! I'm waiting to see how long they last as it was a great price! Too good to be true? Hmmm..."

"This is my second set, first one was installed 10 years ago, still working, so I repeat for our new car. Go for those, forget about the stick-on ones, it's worth every penny of the price."
