"My piece has been wrapped in 3M carbon fiber. I chose to go this direction being out of work (cost of real carbon fiber) and knowing that if I did not like the wrap, I could have it painted. There were a few imperfections on the finish that would have to be addressed prior to painting. Overall, very satisfied with my cover."

"The Vortex splitter fits well under the fascia and conforms well to the body. The center section channels air to the radiator duct. It still allows access to the panels under the car as well. You'll have to remove all of the factory air dam pieces in order to fit the splitter without modification. The side pieces must be removed regardless but if you keep the center piece, you'll have to trim the center/rear of the splitter. You'll also need to sand and paint the splitter, and depending on what finish you want to use, priming it may be a good idea. Once installed, the Vortex splitter completes the look of the car, updating it and bringing the front down closer to the ground. If your car is lowered, this is what you are missing. The construction is thick but flexible, very solid part."

"CARiD was awesome in handling the order and shipment was fast. Item was received, inspected and accepted. I took the spoiler along with some other RKSport body items to a body shop to be pained. The bad news was that the spoiler had tiny stress cracks, all of which had to be repaired and a final preparation completed before paint could be applied. This of course significantly increased the cost to paint the Item. "

"I removed the original Z06 wing and brake light and installed the brake light in the new carbon fiber wing. Bought some black spong tape 1/2 inch deep and added it to the bottom area where the light does not cover on the rear bumper. Than I used door molding tape all over the back side of the carbon wing. I didn't have to drill any additional holes in the rear cover. I used the existing holes in the rear bumper that the old wing used to pick up attachpoints in the new wing. All access was thru the brake lights that come out real easy. The installation took maybe 2 hours and looks great just like the picture above as my Z06 is the same Victory red. Nice upgrade and lots of POP/BLING candy for the rear deck."
