In its brief history, the Toyota Venza has opened a lot of eyes as to what a wagon can be capable of. Originally a concept car at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, the Venza is now established as a stylish, versatile, and comfortable answer for those searching for a ride that has the strengths of a crossover but the handling of a sedan. Production of the vehicle began in November of 2008 at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky with a majority of Toyota parts coming from stateside companies. The Toyota Venza features five doors and can be had in either front or all-wheel drive. The model is also offered with either a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine or a 3.5L V6. The transmission is currently a 6-speed automatic.
The features that come standard with the Toyota Venza help separate the model even further from the typical wagon. Hill-Start assist, Vehicle Stability Control, anti-lock brakes, traction control, fog lamps, dual-zone climate control, 6-disc CD player, active headrests, and 19” or 20” alloy wheels are just some of the details the Venza presents. Toyota wanted to give the Venza a modern, almost luxurious flavor in order to distinguish it from the typical domestic crossover. Higher level options such as HID headlights, leather seating, heated side-view mirrors, Smart Key, and a DVD entertainment system provide are also offered. The 2010 Toyota Venza shows off hands-free phone capability, USB input, and Bluetooth.
While the Toyota Venza parts have been noticed more for their performance and comfort, the vehicle's safety features are also considered to be one of the main reasons for vehicle's early success. All seats have emergency locking retractors. The seatbelts are all three-point and the active headrests for front-seat passengers are designed to provide neck/head support in the event of an accident such as a rear-end collision. Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) rear outboard seats are also another important selling point for drivers with a family to think about. Toyota really put a lot of innovative details into the Venza beyond the normal automotive concerns. The model is known for its well-performing and stylish parts, but it has also gained a hearty reputation for its comfort and reliability, as well.
The Toyota Venza has quickly made its case as one of the more prominent models under the banner. While most in its class get by on mediocre performance and cookie-cutter looks, the Toyota Venza steps up with a smoothly-styled body and the added "punch" to match. Drivers from all backgrounds have found reasons why they are attracted to this ride. Some enjoy the dependability. Others prefer the fashion potential. And even more are fond of the entire package. When it's time to find your Toyota Venza accessories that complete the picture, this is the place to start.
