The Plymouth Prowler is a gorgeous “hot rod” inspired vehicle unveiled as a concept car at the 1993 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The striking and unconventional design instantly hit the imagination of both critics and public, pushing the Plymouth management to develop the project. In 1996, the Plymouth Prowler was finally launched on the market: a beautiful retro-styled sportster featuring an elegant and aggressive body shape, powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine. Only 8,532 Plymouth Prowlers were built in 1997 and from 1999 to 2001, then the Prowler was badged as a Chrysler model, with a production of 3,170 more units during the biennium 2001-2002.
