Product Details

SCORPION WINTER (RUN FLAT) Tires by PIRELLI TIRES®. Season: Winter / Snow. Type: Truck / SUV, Run Flat. SCORPION™ WINTER tires are engineered to fit modern SUVs and crossovers, with a special focus on the high-end segment. They ensure safe driving by providing maximum stability and control in snow, wet, and dry conditions.

Designed for winter use, the Scorpion Winter stands out due to its excellent handling and supreme driving comfort. When driven on road, it promises excellent grip and low noise levels during low temperatures, even through water or on snow. Characterized by an elegant tread pattern with an asymmetric design. The wide longitudinal grooves and angled tread blocks ensure the most demanding driver remains in full control, even in the most complex weather conditions.

The Scorpion Winter tire features a tread rubber compound that remains flexible at lower ambient temperatures to enhance grip and handling in typical winter conditions. The tread compound is molded into a subtly asymmetric tread design that features a stable shoulder area to enhance dry road handling, circumferential grooves to provide hydroplaning resistance and help maintain good traction on wet and slush-covered roads, while angled independent tread blocks with circumferential and lateral sipes help the tire bite into snow. The Scorpion Winter winter / snow radials meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol.

Happy Camper
Finally got my new tires on my car. Had the chance to go out of town. The ride was so smooth.. Luttle vibration but I need to get aligned but over all I love my tires.

Do Not Buy - "Cold Cracking"
I have a set of 4 of these tires for a 2014 Mustang manufactured 4021 and 4121. I have driven on them for 1 full summer of 2022 and the car was then stored for the winter in my insulated garage in Alberta, Canada. The garage maintains 0-5C through the coldest parts of the winter. I have noticed both of my front tires have cracking all across the tread and the rear tires are fine. Reaching out to Pirelli support they say this is called "Cold Cracking" and that these tires are not to be used below 7C. I have told them the car is stored from fall to spring and doesn't get driven below 7C. They say its my fault having the car stored in a garage below 7C which caused the tires to crack and its not covered under warranty. Somehow only my 2 front tires are cracked and the rears are fine. Pirelli says it's not safe to drive on cold cracked tires and they need to be replaced. So now I have 2 brand new tires with 8mm tread depth that are garbage. DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES!!!!

Undeniable
I could immediately tell a huge difference when I swapped to these from my all seasons. The grip seems impossibly good. Just to test it, I put the car in front wheel drive and slowly creeped up snow covered hills without either touching the gas or spinning a tire. It blew my mind that my traction never broke in five inches of snow on a rather steep grade. Meanwhile, at regular road speeds I feel completely comfortable and relaxed when driving in all conditions i've faced thus far. We've been getting hit hard with snow and ice lately in my part of PA and I hit the roads with complete confidence. I actually look forward to it! Now that I've made the leap to Pirelli, and having experienced the eye opening difference from other tires I've had first hand, I won't buy another brand again. These are the answer.

Confidence Inspiring SUV Tires that Allow the Lexus RX350 to Handle!
Soft quiet ride for day to day, with sharp handling when traveling in the twistys!!! Putting the best possible tires on my wife's daily driver is important! I want her safe and I want her to feel confident her rig can handle strong steering inputs and straighten those curves!!! We experienced some rainy days on a couple occasions here in California and the Lexus gripped impressively (an Alfa Romeo is my daily driver and so the standard is HIGH!!!)

They are still in great condition
I've had these tires since 2010 and they are still in great condition. They have worn well and have got me through some pretty sticky situations in Vegas. I never had a real problem with them until I moved to Wyoming this past winter and tried them out on some trail with 6+" of snow. Got stuck a few times but never needed help out.

240 Sottozero
I have the 240 Sottozero tires on mine right now and have found them to be very comfortable with very low tire noise. Want to try them in snow but I assume they will work as intended.
