Product Details

SCORPION™ ALL TERRAIN PLUS WITH WHITE LETTERING Tires (2722600) by PIRELLI TIRES®. 265/65R18, Speed Index T - 118 mph, Max Load 2601 lbs, Tire Weight 41.41 lbs. Season: All Season. Type: All Terrain / Off Road / Mud, Truck / SUV. Sidewall Style: White Lettering. High Performance All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sporty appearance, predictable handling and H- or V-speed rated durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. High Performance All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans.

O.E. High Performance All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires.

The tread compound is molded into an asymmetric tread pattern divided into distinct inner and outer elements to blend traction in snow and on ice with drivability on dry and wet roads. On the inside, they utilize Pirelli's ultra high performance tire structures to offer levels of performance not normally associated with winter tires.

For safe driving in winter too, winter tires are formulated with specific compound and an optimized tread pattern to ensure adherence and traction in cold weather conditions. Winter tires are at their best in lower temperatures, especially in rain and snow, but also on dry asphalt.

Pirelli tires have a quite stiff construction and do not usually require higher inflation pressures. They are designed for use at a pressure of approximately 2 bar, to be adjusted according to the type of car. The figures indicated refer to the “operating pressure”: the pressure of the tire when it is fully warmed up to working temperature. For accurate calibration, it is essential to consider that the difference in temperature between a “cold” tire and a “hot” one is quite significant, normally 0.5 bar.

Pirelli recommends the use of ordinary compressed air to inflate the tires, provided that the above procedures are followed. No special gases, such as nitrogen, are required unless the source of air is exposed to excessive humidity.

Always use a high-quality air pressure gauge in order to obtain reliable results. We also recommend that the valve stems of the wheels should be metal, instead of rubber, as they are more resistant to high temperatures.

They are a good tire in the rain
3000 miles on my FX4 with the 20" stockers, and I would say they are a good tire in the rain. We have had plenty here, in San Antonio, this year and I have not felt the truck lose the rear end bad once.

Finally got my new tires on my car. Had the chance to go out of town. The ride was so smooth.. Luttle vibration but I need to get aligned but over all I love my tires.

Much Better Than Stock Bridgestones
Should have switched to these at my 1st tire change. Quieter and 'stickier' - have noticeably more confident cornering - and I do a LOT of it on my weekly drives up and down the mountains of Big Bear. No experience with these in rain or snow yet (I switch to winter tires in Dec). 2011 Nissan Murano AWD

Confidence Inspiring SUV Tires that Allow the Lexus RX350 to Handle!
Soft quiet ride for day to day, with sharp handling when traveling in the twistys!!! Putting the best possible tires on my wife's daily driver is important! I want her safe and I want her to feel confident her rig can handle strong steering inputs and straighten those curves!!! We experienced some rainy days on a couple occasions here in California and the Lexus gripped impressively (an Alfa Romeo is my daily driver and so the standard is HIGH!!!)

Just Installed
These Pirelli tires are replacing Goodyear AT/S and so far have great grip in rainy conditions and are very quiet! These tires are good value and have an awesome tread design.

Any Experience Out There on Snow?
Love the tires. Comfort and quiet ride are the best. I'm heading into a Canadian winter and would like to see a snow review.
