Product Details

P ZERO A/S Tires (3879200) by PIRELLI TIRES®. 245/40R19, Speed Index W - 168 mph, Max Load 1477 lbs, Tire Weight 24.93 lbs. Season: All Season. Type: Performance. Ideal for "soft" and "hard" tuning conversions, this tire meets the needs at the performance and aesthetic level, offering a personal identity to all cars from compacts through to the most powerful luxury sedans. Ensures driving pleasure without compromising the comfort.

The asymmetric tread design offers precision handling in all conditions, even at the limit. A solid center rib gives a constant and consistent contact patch with the road, while requiring shorter braking distances and offering quicker acceleration in both dry and wet conditions. Four longitudinal and numerous lateral grooves minimize the risk of aquaplaning when cornering.

The P Zero Nero All Season provides a winning combination of quiet ride, precise cornering and superior grip in both wet and dry driving conditions. It features a growing list of original equipment fitments and replacement sizes, both in conventional and Run Flat constructions.

P Zero Family is the maximum expression of Pirelli's "Ultra High Performance" philosophy. Enhancing the performance of modern supersports cars and their most "extreme" versions, these tires have also been designed for occasional race track use. Ideal for powerful sedans and mid-range vehicles.

Pirelli tires have a stiff construction and do not usually require higher inflation pressures. They are designed for use at a pressure of approximately 2 bar, which is to be adjusted according to the vehicle type. The indicated figure refers to the “operating pressure”: the pressure of the tire when it is fully warmed up to working temperature. For accurate calibration, it is essential to consider that the difference in temperature between a “cold” tire and a “hot” one is quite significant, normally 0.5 bar.

Pirelli recommends the use of ordinary compressed air to inflate the tires, provided that the above procedures are followed. No special gases, such as nitrogen, are required unless the source of air is exposed to excessive humidity.

Always use a high-quality air pressure gauge in order to obtain reliable results. We also recommend that the valve stems of the wheels should be metal, instead of rubber, as they are more resistant to high temperatures.

Do Not Buy - "Cold Cracking"
I have a set of 4 of these tires for a 2014 Mustang manufactured 4021 and 4121. I have driven on them for 1 full summer of 2022 and the car was then stored for the winter in my insulated garage in Alberta, Canada. The garage maintains 0-5C through the coldest parts of the winter. I have noticed both of my front tires have cracking all across the tread and the rear tires are fine. Reaching out to Pirelli support they say this is called "Cold Cracking" and that these tires are not to be used below 7C. I have told them the car is stored from fall to spring and doesn't get driven below 7C. They say its my fault having the car stored in a garage below 7C which caused the tires to crack and its not covered under warranty. Somehow only my 2 front tires are cracked and the rears are fine. Pirelli says it's not safe to drive on cold cracked tires and they need to be replaced. So now I have 2 brand new tires with 8mm tread depth that are garbage. DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES!!!!

Undeniable
I could immediately tell a huge difference when I swapped to these from my all seasons. The grip seems impossibly good. Just to test it, I put the car in front wheel drive and slowly creeped up snow covered hills without either touching the gas or spinning a tire. It blew my mind that my traction never broke in five inches of snow on a rather steep grade. Meanwhile, at regular road speeds I feel completely comfortable and relaxed when driving in all conditions i've faced thus far. We've been getting hit hard with snow and ice lately in my part of PA and I hit the roads with complete confidence. I actually look forward to it! Now that I've made the leap to Pirelli, and having experienced the eye opening difference from other tires I've had first hand, I won't buy another brand again. These are the answer.

Great Tires
Greatly improved grip on the road, as well as better control on snow compared to my last set of tires

I have read a few reviews about the quality of the Pirelli tires and I was taken aback by the positive reviews. My experience have been totally the opposite. My previous vehicle a 430I BMW 2017, convertible had Pirelli tires and only into about 12,000 and three years a bubble formed on the sidewall of the left front tire. Since it had 12,000 miles and was a three year old car (4,000 mile per year) I replaced the tire without questioning the bubble on the side wall. This year in February I replaced the 430 for a M340 which also came equipped with Pirelli tires, 225/40 R 19XL. To my amazement after only 4,100 miles and 8 months, both front tires developed bubbles on the side wall and had to be replaced. The BMW dealer wanted me to paid for the replacement of the tires but after a short argument they agreed to replaced them under manufacture's warranty. Please note the low mileage on both vehicles, driven less than 20 miles a day, garaged and well taken care. Based on my experience I would give Pirelli a "One" rating for quality. I just hope that the new tires will last longer and the next vehicle I get does not come equipped with Pirelli tires. Two vehicles, and both experienced the same issue (bubbles on the side wall). Owners of Pirelli tires, please inspect your vehicles periodically for defects from the manufacturers.

Any Experience Out There on Snow?
Love the tires. Comfort and quiet ride are the best. I'm heading into a Canadian winter and would like to see a snow review.

Great Brand
The summer set of these are better, but when you drive in wet area a lot the all season are the way to go. These tires have great traction at higher speeds and with great response. They grab the road and allow you to maneuver through traffic with ease and hugs corners beautifully. This will be my third set on this vehicle.

They are still in great condition
I've had these tires since 2010 and they are still in great condition. They have worn well and have got me through some pretty sticky situations in Vegas. I never had a real problem with them until I moved to Wyoming this past winter and tried them out on some trail with 6+" of snow. Got stuck a few times but never needed help out.

Cinturato P7
I got the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus installed about 500 miles ago. Love them. Previously had the Michelin Latitudes. The Pirellis feel like ankle weights have been taken off the car. It's so much lighter feeling, handles even better, and the ride isn't as harsh. Highly recommend them!

Pirrelli Tires
Haven't had them long but seem like good tires. Have had Pirrelli in the past and had good luck with them.
