The Mazda CX-30 made its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the automaker's new addition to the crossover lineup. Slotting in size between Mazda's subcompact CX-3 and the award-winning, best-selling CX-5, it suits those looking for a mid-compact SUV for city driving that can seat five. It is underpinned by the Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture shared with the Mazda3 and borrows plenty of design cues from its sibling. The styling department is where this new SUV truly wins. The CX-30 is an athletic crossover with striking proportions. One of the major exterior highlights are flowing lines that emphasize the vehicle's dynamic nature. The sculpted body panels create a unique interplay of light and shade, while black cladding visually reduces the height, which together with a sloping roofline gives the CX-30 a coupe-like profile. If you want to add more one-of-a-kind touches to your crossover, go aftermarket which is packed with Mazda CX-30 accessories and parts for any taste and budget.

The cockpit of the new crossover is designed to offer an upscale look and feel. Starting with elegant stitching on the seats and dash and ending with a wide console layout, all Mazda CX-30 parts and accessories inside the cabin are made with attention to detail. The interior is clearly centered around the driver. All the controls are intuitively placed, with readouts catching the driver's attention. The pilot's position is elevated a bit to provide proper outward visibility. Mazda gave its new vehicle a fair amount of insulation, contributing to a quiet, refined ride. You can make it even more comfortable with the right Mazda CX-30 accessories. As expected from a modern SUV, the CX-30 comes with a host of safety and driver assistance features that range from familiar collision prevention systems like auto braking and forward collision warning to advanced technologies like a driver monitoring feature that evaluates the level of the pilot's alertness. Infotainment has been reworked and at launch comes with an 8.8'' screen and a rotary controller.

The European market gets this small SUV with a choice of 2.0-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder engines and a 1.8-liter diesel available at launch. The automaker's new yet already famous Skyactiv-X compression ignition gasoline unit is on offer, as is the Skyactiv-G 2.0. Both get a mild-hybrid system for better fuel economy and reduced emissions. The brand's i-Activ AWD operates in conjunction with G-Vectoring Control to manage torque distribution to keep the vehicle under control in difficult road conditions while aiding fuel efficiency.
