Pro Series Exhaust Systems by MagnaFlow®. These entry level performance diesel systems feature 100% steel mufflers and mandrel-bent steel tubing. MagnaFlow systems give more horsepower and torque than factory exhaust systems by providing better exhaust scavenging and gas flow. They also provide the characteristic MagnaFlow looks and sound.
Fitment of a MagnaFlow diesel exhaust system improves performance by providing better exhaust scavenging and a better gas flow through the exhaust pipes and muffler(s).
The aluminized steel pipes in a MagnaFlow System are mandrel bent, keeping their cross section area through the bends to avoid obstructions to the gas flow. The MagnaFlow System improves exhaust scavenging, which ups horsepower and torque.
The gases are led into the free-flow mufflers with smooth necks and a straight-through, perforated aluminized steel tuning pipe. The pipe is wrapped in a stainless mesh wrap and surrounded by tightly packed acoustical fiber in a lap-joint welded aluminized steel body. The muffler is finely tuned to dampen irritating pitch notes and to deliver that smooth, deep and powerful tone that is so characteristic of MagnaFlow exhausts. The quality materials and the tight packing of the acoustical material ensure long life and no sound degradation over time.
