This exhaust creates an aggressive exterior sound while keeping engine noise to a moderate level inside your vehicle.
Fitment of MagnaFlow DPF diesel exhaust systems does not affect the parts of the exhaust system that are regulated by emission control legislation. They improve performance by providing a better gas flow behind the Diesel Particulate Filter. The stainless steel pipes in a MagnaFlow System are mandrel bent, keeping their shape through the bends to avoid obstructions to the gas flow. The MagnaFlow System improves exhaust scavenging, which ups horsepower and torque.
The gases are led into the free-flow mufflers with smooth necks and a straight-through, perforated stainless steel tuning pipe. The pipe is wrapped in a stainless mesh wrap and surrounded by tightly packed acoustical fiber in a lap-joint welded stainless steel body. The muffler is finely tuned to dampen irritating pitch notes and to deliver that smooth, deep and powerful tone that is so characteristic of MagnaFlow exhausts.
