The car is powered by either a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 255 HP at 6,200rpm available as standard or a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 generating about 365 hp at 6,000 rpm offered as an option. Both engines are directed through an eight-speed automatic transmission which offers 5 drive modes: Eco, Personal, Comfort, Sport, and Smart settings, which allow for adjustment of steering effort and response, powertrain calibration and suspension tuning. To ensure outstanding ride and handling, the Kia Stinger has a dynamic damping MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension design, DSDC (Dynamic Stability Damping Control) and R-MDPS (Rack-mounted Motor Driven Power Steering). Striving to meet high expectations of passionate drivers, the automaker has made the Stinger available with either rear- or all-wheel drive. As a result, this car has become the first Kia's sedan offered with all-wheel drive.
