Racing Gauges & Data Management

When you push your car hard at the track, you need precise data so you can intelligently monitor the health of your machine. If your race car is based on a production vehicle, you know the factory gauges (if the car even came with any) aren’t going to provide the accuracy you need, and their size and positioning often have more to do with dash styling than they do usefulness to the driver. Whether you’re modifying a street car for competition or building a dedicated racing machine, we have the instruments you need so you’ll know at a glance what’s going on with your car’s vital signs or be alerted to a problem.

We have all the gauges found in most race cars including oil pressure, water temperature, fuel pressure, and voltmeter, as well as tachometers with shift lights and separate standalone shift lights. Although most race vehicles aren’t equipped with speedometers and fuel gauges, we offer them if you want to include them in your instrumentation. Our selection also includes wideband air/fuel ratio gauges for tuning, boost gauges, and exhaust gas temperature gauges. In short, no matter what you want to monitor, we can supply you with the gauge. And because, in the heat of competition, drivers don’t often have time to monitor a gauge, we offer warning lights that can be preset to alert the driver to conditions like low oil pressure.

Our gauges come in a range of sizes so you can get the diameters that works best for your application. We offer a variety of gauge face and bezel styles and gauges like tachometers, and pressure and temperature gauges, are offered in a choice of rpm, psi, and degree ranges, so you can tailor the display to your needs. Choose from electric or mechanical operation, analog or digital displays, perimeter incandescent lighting or LED through-the-dial lighting, and standard or glowing pointers. Many gauges are available dry or liquid filled. Liquid filled gauges protect the internal gauge parts from damage caused by the shock and vibration that’s typically experienced in racing.

In addition to gauges, we can also provide you with Data Loggers that accept both digital and analog inputs, allowing you to log almost any engine parameter, and which can be connected to EMS (Engine Management System) and UEGO (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen) controllers; and Boost Controllers that allow monitoring and adjustment of boost and incorporate overboost protection. We also have the sensors needed to provide system inputs including MAP/pressure sensors, temperature sensors, wideband UEGO sensors, and exhaust backpressure sensors, as well as the necessary wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and relays to complete installation and ensure reliable communication between components.
