Product Details

Yellowstuff Brake Pads by EBC®. These are racing-grade replacement brake pads designed to offer an optimum combination of performance for street use. Aramid fiber compound provides a high level of grip when pads are cold and maintains it without fade even under the hottest operating temperatures. Best suited for higher horsepower cars. Yellow arrives with pad surface Brake-in coating to accelerate pad bedding after install.

Installation

EBC Yellowstuff™ 1793 compound is a true winner all round, it has high friction from cold, not requiring warm up for street use yet when loaded up and really hot the brakes just get better. Even up to truck weights these pads grip and do not heat fade. They are the most fastest brake pads for Trackday and Drift racing. EBC yellows are ECE Brake safety tested which means they must work perfectly from cold at least as good or better than stock pads. When Yellowstuff™ see some heat (which is not tested for in the ECE R 90 brake safety regulations) they really show their pedigree. On Japanese cars built with lower friction FF rated pads these deliver a full grade higher stopping and on German cars built with GG these are about the only aftermarket pads that will match or beat the pretty good German OE spec pads and that takes some doing.

Great Pads but
Pads don't come with hardware or brake grease. Also didn't have the brake clip holes so I drilled those holes in to be able to use the pads effectively. Otherwise than that could immediately tell the difference in braking performance and has pretty good initial bite.

Superior Brake Pads
These pads are the best pads for performance with serious bite and a smooth finish. They do give off lots of dust and dont last very long. Matched up with EBC rotors they are a great combo. This is my second pair of pads for the super sleeper set up. Be easy on them for a couple hundred miles. They will shudder at first at higher speeds if not broken properly. They will remove any deposits left from previous pads. Once broken in after 200 miles or so they will feel seemless. Looking forward to purchasing a new set up for my new car.

Saturn Ion Redline
Great pads. They're just starting to bed in completely and I can already notice the improvements in the pedal response now. Will stick with EBC pads and rotors in my car. Very happy with everything.

Brake Pads
I got these pads hoping that they would make a difference over the stock pads for the price. They did make a difference, but I have about 500 miles on them and they still squeak at almost every stop I make.
