The Citroen C8 is known as a "Eurovan," one of the names used for some identical large multi-purpose vehicles that came as the result of PSA and Fiat joint venture known as Sevel. The cabin was now equipped with sliding electric doors and accommodated eight persons in three rows. The double parallel sequential turbo was offered on 4-cylinder 173 HDi diesel engine, which was the most powerful 4-cylinder engine in the range of Citroen. The two balance shafts ensured comfortable driving by limiting engine vibration. The Citroen C8 had perfect directional stability as well as steering precision due to such new Citroen C8 parts as MacPherson strut suspension fitted at the front and a torsion beam axle mounted at the rear. The vehicle was equipped with assistance equipment to ensure relaxed driving and with all required safety features to ensure safety ride.
