Perfect Replacement
Bolted up perfectly, much better steering response than the unit it replaced.

Does What Its Supposed To Do
It works, replaced my power steering pump today. Steering is much more fluid and responsive, with no more noises.

Overall Very Good!
The new Cardone pump does make a little whine noise, but quieter than the OEM it replacement. No leaks so far.

Steering Back to Smooth as Silk
Pump seems quality built, went in with no fuss. Too early to tell if it'll hold up but I did do a complete flush of the power steering fluid afterward to ensure there was no contamination. So far about 2000 miles of driving on it.

Power Steering
The item arrived in an over size box that had the pump sliding around in limited packaging. The tank was painted over a clearly not cleaned before painting. The paint on reservoir flaked off easily to show a greasy oily surface. Installation was a pain to line up bolts to holes. The return line was in a position blocking access to hole on bracket to pump. Not sure what car the reservoir was originally from. Once I got it installed I filled the Reservoir with Power steering fluid I bought at Advance Auto Parts. I left it to sit on engine over night because I ran out of fluid. I installed a new belt for all accessories. I started the flush process using 1 gallon of fluid that finally came through clean. Need at least 4 fills & drains to get fluid to come out clear & no bubbles. I then attached the return line with filter. Some were in ordering I got a case on filters? I ran the engine to warm up fluid. Turning steering wheel lock to lock many times. I went for a shake down ride & the terrible screeching sound from pump was gone. Smooth operation restored.
