The SRX from Cadillac is a distinctive crossover from General Motors. It has been produced since 2004. The SRX has undergone two generations: 2004-2009, 2010 and on. The first-generation SRX featured the Sigma platform and had two engine options: a 4.6 L LH2 Northstar V8 producing 320 hp, and a 3.6 L LY7 HFV6 V6 that could reach 260 hp. Customers were also offered to choose between two transmission options: a 5-speed or 6-speed automatic. The second-generation SRX has three engine options: a 3.6 L LFX V6, 3.0 L LF1 V6, and turbocharged 2.8 L LP9 V6, all mated to a 6-speed automatic tranny.
