Launched in 2005, the Terraza was Buick’s response to super popular Chrysler Corporation minivans. The vehicle was built on the GM U platform and was, in fact, a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Uplander, Saturn Relay, and Pontiac Montana introduced alongside the Terraza. The vehicle debuted with the only engine available, a 3.5L V6 with the output rated at 200 horsepower and 220 lb·ft of torque, being able to reach 60 mph in less than 9 seconds. In 2007, Buick added an optional 3.9L V6 that developed up to 240 hp and 240 lb·ft of torque and became standard later on. The model was discontinued in 2007, prior to the introduction of the all-new Enclave.
