BBK® 1619 - Power-Plus Series™ Underdrive Alternator Pulley System

There are 2 ways to get your car to go faster: modify the engine to make more power, or reduce the engine's workload. The latter has been traditionally accomplished by lightening a vehicle and/or making it more aerodynamic, so the engine doesn't have to work as hard to pull excessive weight or overcome drag, but you can also decrease the engine's workload by reducing so called "parasitic drag" with this Underdrive Pulley Kit.

Along with driving the vehicle, your engine also has to drive various accessories via the serpentine belt, which consumes horsepower. By reducing this "parasitic drag", you can make more power available to the drive wheels for increased performance. This Underdrive Pulley kit has been carefully designed to rotate accessories at a slower speed, but without affecting charging system output, cooling system capability, or adversely affecting any other system. Your vehicle will operate normally except you'll have an extra 8-15 horsepower for better acceleration and passing power.

Custom designed for the application, this kit is a bolt-on installation and direct replacement for the factory pulleys; you can even use the same serpentine belt. The pulleys are CNC machined from high quality aluminum and polished to perfection or formed in steel that's been powdercoated black. The kit comes with hardware and detailed installation instructions. The BBK Underdrive Pulley kit is backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, as long as the product was installed according to BBK guidelines.
