Product Details

ATLAS™ Exhaust Systems by aFe®. The ATLAS Exhaust System channels the exhaust from the engine to the rear of the vehicle on a racing diesel engine truck. It has the least amount of exhaust flow restriction possible to enable the engine to make more horsepower and torque and operate with reduced exhaust gas temperatures.

An off-road exhaust system must safely carry harmful exhaust gases to the rear of the vehicle, away from the driver. But it must do so with the least amount of restriction, for maximum airflow and power, under the most demanding conditions. To achieve this, the right pipe size and every bend must be carefully calculated.

aFe tests its systems on the flow bench and the dynamometer to determine the right pipe size and muffler construction. Then they mandrel bend the pipes to ensure they maintain their shape and size throughout the entire length, to provide smooth, unrestricted airflow. Tubes that are not mandrel bent can lose up to 20% of their diameter in sharp bends. A free-flowing 12" wide muffler is included in systems that feature a muffler. Some systems include a straight muffler delete pipe if a more aggressive sound and maximum flow is desired.

But performance is only part of the equation. A quality exhaust system should be easy to install and made to last. The muffler and all pipes of the ATLAS exhaust system are constructed from aluminized steel. To ensure a tight seal, slotted and swedged ends are used whenever possible. When used with the supplied premium quality band clamps, the tightest, leak-free seal is the result. Every hanger is thoroughly welded on each side to ensure a strong attachment and the hangers also feature swaged bayonet ends to lock in place once installed. The factory mounting locations are used throughout and a 2-piece tailpipe facilitates adjustment.

This a "Race Only" product that is intended only for use during racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use, including recreational off-road use, could be a violation of local, state and federal laws. This system may also require an aftermarket electronic module to work properly on some vehicles.

Truck sounds way better
Stock exhaust was too quiet, this adds some nice sound. Not crazy loud but deep enough to feel like an upgrade over stock.

Waste of Money
I bought this kit for my 2021 Ram 3500, took 3 hrs to remove and install new exhaust, suppose to be loud and aggressive. NOT. Stock exhaust was better, no change in sound or anything.

Great Exhaust System
I actually was very surprised when i bought this exhaust system. I didn't know how it would sound, and it sounds very well on my 04 Ranger. The only downside was that this site said it would fit my standard cab/ standard bed truck. It was only for extended cab and supercab. All I did was cut down some pipe and welded it. Great product!

AFE
Looks and sounds bad a**! For a very good price. I can barely hear my engine running on cruise and idle, but on hard accel, it sounds very throaty!

Installation Review
I've been running this exhaust for around two weeks. Sounds impressive. The install was easy. Just pulled the stock exhaust out, put the hangers on the aFe unit and put it in.

It’s Okay
Took me at most 20 minutes but I have a car lift. It had came with everything but when I got the box the exhaust hangar was poking out the box, it came with a license plate cover and 4 stickers. And yes with this exhaust you need to cut off the stock exhaust, it was super easy to install when I was finished I noticed the exhaust tips aren’t aligned that great it faces a little bit downwards. But when I had started the car it sounds loud in the interior sounds pretty good but my father says in sounds close to stock from the out side. I noticed when you rev and cruise at go to high rpm you barely hear the exhaust but when you cruise at low rpm or idles it sounds loud like a subwoofer. I had posted a video on YouTube copy and paste the name of this item and look it up on YouTube the name is car geek

Awesome Sound
I chose aFe for my '19 Sierra 1500 and I really love the sound!! Deep and aggressive just what I was looking for. Noticed a slight boost in performance too.

Thrilling Sound Upgrade!
I love how aggressive my truck sounds now. Definitely worth it for the growl alone! Installation was a bit tricky solo, I'd recommend having a buddy help out.

Easy Install , Everything Included , Sounds Great
Easy to install, took about 1 hour, no jack needed. all parts where included that needed to be installed. It’s like a puzzle, needed to loosen the middle and rear hook support brackets that are bolted to frame for easier install insert of the exhaust hooks into the rubber supports. Keep everything loose until it’s all connected. I used a can of wd40 on the joint to adjust the tail pipe to muffler connection and get it to slide in smooth and to adjust tail pipe so it faces up or down to your liking . Make sure to tighten after install and tighten again after 50 miles or so.sound is amazing , definitely makes the v8 titan sound like a v8, a for sure noticeable upgrade from stock . Sounds extra nice cruising through parking garages. For the price it’s a good find
