Your air conditioning system's ability to control the temperature in the cabin is principal to comfortable and relaxed driving. We've gathered a wide range of A/C tools and equipment to restore the performance of your vehicle’s air conditioning system. Using the right A/C tools and equipment from our selection, you will be able to easily and effectively repair, discharge, or maintain your vehicle’s air conditioning system whenever it is needed.
The tools and equipment you will need to repair or service your A/C system include gauge sets, thermometers, leak detectors and leak detection dyes, refrigerant identifiers, vacuum pumps, etc. Gauge sets are good for reading low and high pressure in A/C system and indicating if it’s ready for recharge. We store both R12 and R134a gauges as well as dual refrigerant brass manifold gauges. We also offer sensitive electronic vacuum gauges. You will surely need a thermometer for measuring air temperature at the A/C outlets to monitor cooling performance. Laser thermometers are commonly used now.
The radiator is the heart of your vehicle’s A/C system. It controls the temperature (reduces it) of the heat coming from the refrigerant running through the A/C system of the vehicle. It means the radiator must be clean, devoid of blockages, and leak free. Our leak detectors and leak detection dyes will be really helpful in finding leaks. Our versatile range offers dual and refrigerant leak detectors, clip-on UV light leak detectors, pulsating UV light and focus leak detectors with special glasses, pressurized refrigerant UV dye kits, UV flashlight refrigerant leak detectors with laser, dye injection systems, and more.
An electromagnetic air conditioner clutch turns the A/C compressor on when the correct voltage is delivered to it from the powertrain control module. A failed clutch causes the air conditioner to run improperly. To keep the A/C clutch in perfect operating condition, we have A/C clutch puller and compressor kits. All tools mentioned above belong to special air conditioning service tools and equipment category. But we also have more common tools, such as A/C filters, couplers, and adapters, A/C compression block off kits, flaring kits with single, double and bubble flaring for soft copper or steel tubing, fittings, and hoses.
