FJC Air Condition Parts & Equipment

Air conditioning is a very useful feature present in virtually all modern vehicles. In a hot climate, it’s a really vital amenity, especially when it comes to traveling with kids or elderly people. Year after year, these systems get more effective and functional, but any of them still needs some maintenance or even repair over time. FJC Inc. is a manufacturer and global distributor of automotive air conditioning equipment and tools needed to keep the system in top shape. Known for high quality, these tools are popular among mechanics and workshop owners.

The company carries refrigerant gases and oils, vacuum pumps, hand-held hydraulic crimper kits for A/C hoses and pipes, valve core removers that allow the installation and removal of valve cores without the loss of refrigerant, nitrogen/hydrogen regulators, and lots of other first-class products. Nitrogen flush kits offered by FJC enable you to remove contaminants and sludge from condensers, evaporators, and hoses. Also, the company offers different models of leak detection kits. Many of them are based on a hydrogen sensor that is activated in the presence of hydrogen.

When the system is filled with a special mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen, the detector helps to find possible leaks manually. Another way to find a leak is provided by FJC fluorescent or LED lights that make leaks visible; you only have to add a special dye into the system, which becomes visible in the area of leakage. When you need to remove unwanted water and air, you can use a spark-free FJC vacuum pump also offered by the company along with a variety of hoses, couplers, and adapters. Indeed, whatever you’re going to do with an automotive air conditioner, the company’s assortment already contains everything needed for the job.

Spend the Money and Buy Better
I bought the kit because it was the deal I could find. The gauge and hoses work all right. However, charge port connections do not attach well. In fact, it took a set a channel locks to remove them. Next time I will buy new ones rather than risk damaging the cars system. Replacing them will end up being about the price of buying a better set. I should have known better - buy cheap, get cheap. Learn from my mistake and do better.
