Due to EPA regulations, R-12 refrigerant is no longer available and older cars require upgrade of these systems to accommodate newer, more environmentally-friendly refrigerants. Spend the Money and Buy Better
I bought the kit because it was the deal I could find. The gauge and hoses work all right. However, charge port connections do not attach well. In fact, it took a set a channel locks to remove them. Next time I will buy new ones rather than risk damaging the cars system. Replacing them will end up being about the price of buying a better set. I should have known better - buy cheap, get cheap. Learn from my mistake and do better.
