This model is equipped with a 48-volt electric motor that contributes up to 21 HP. As a result, the vehicle reaches 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The GT 63 is a mild-level series of the new vehicle. It’s equipped with a 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 that offers 577 HP. It’s claimed to allow a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. Finally, the Mercedes GT 63 S tops this lineup. It has the same V8 engine, but it is tuned to make up to 630 HP. The model hits 60 mph in only 3.1 seconds and offers the driver a top speed of 195 mph.

With two roadster models already on offer, the AMG GT welcomes in new versions for the 2019 model year. The first one carries the GT S badge and fits right between the base version and the sleekest GT C Roadster. It features the same 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 as its siblings but offers 0-60 mph acceleration, top speed, and power figures that slot between the two. Thus, it develops 515 hp compared to the base model's 469 hp and the C version's 550 hp, while attaining a max speed of 192 mph, against other roadsters' 188 and 196 mph. Other performance features of the AMG GT S Roadster are AMG Ride Control suspension, performance exhaust, beefed-up brakes with composite rotors and fixed calipers, and an electronically controlled rear diff.

The second addition to the roadster range is the AMG GT R droptop limited to just 750 cars. With a 4.0 L 577-hp V8, adjustable coilovers, rear wheel steering, and active aero pieces, it is as potent and sharp-handling as its coupe sibling while being even more exhilarating to drive thanks to the possibility of open-air cruising. There are some other features, though, that set the 2019 GT R apart from the rest of the lineup. For starters, it got special slits in wheel arch liners that let more air in. The cockpit received a standard AMG Performance flat-bottom steering wheel along with the Night package which adds high-gloss finish to some of the interior parts. On the outside, there’s an exclusive graphite gray paint color available.
