About Peugeot 4007

The Peugeot 4007 is a compact crossover SUV produced by the French automaker Peugeot since 2007. The 4007, based on the Mitsubishi Outlander, is produced by Mitsubishi in the Nedcar plant (Netherlands). This vehicle is the third model that came out of collaboration and is the first Peugeot attempt at a SUV. The front end panel, underlines the sturdy, sporty nature of the car. Sporty designed, Peugeot 4007 parts embody elegance and refinement. Peugeot 4007 delves into a new sphere of automotive pleasure and has a good position in the compact all-terrain vehicle market.

Combining the best of the two automotive types, the Peugeot 4007 has a novel electronically controlled transmission and a powerful 2.2HD diesel engine. The 4007 can be switched between front- and four-wheel drive, but its top priority is on-road manners. The car shows - body lean is tightly controlled, particularly for a 4x4, and although the steering is a bit slow on feedback, it's precise and nicely weighted. The ride is firm, but is not harsh, still the abrupt clutch can be a pain in stop-start traffic.

Fuel consumption is high, when touring on the highway it's above 30 mpg according to the trip computer and near 21 mpg around town. The standard ES specification includes 16-inch wheels, cruise control, seven seats in three rows, automatic air conditioning with climate control, Isofix child seat mountings, front, front side and curtain airbags, electrically operated windows, folding and heated door mirrors, trip computer, radio/CD player, alarm, central locking, upper and lower section twin tailgate and front fog lights.

The Peugeot 4007 invites an explosion of style and drama to the crossover world that hasn't seen enough of it. Equipped with solid Peugeot 4007 parts, this sleekly styled SUV is that picture of performance, style, and versatility that every driver craves, and the 4007 delivers with unrelenting gusto. The interior is accommodating and spacious, allowing enough room for passengers and cargo alike to fit with nary a problem. Backed by strong performance ratings, the 4007 can handle itself in a pinch with confident smoothness. Quickly becoming the class of the field, the 4007 is a hot-item that is only getting hotter, especially when fitted with right accessories.

Since the demise of built-in running boards after World War II, auto manufacturers have been using rocker panel moldings to dress up a vehicle area that would otherwise be plain-looking and nondescript.
