Monitors, Dash Cams, DVD

Children, especially small, can lead you to distraction, which is a dangerous thing when driving in a crazy-traffic city. That's why more and more dads and moms turn to portable as well as in-car DVD players to guarantee the peace while running errands around town or during lengthy road trips. We stock everything you may need to experience fun and, what is more important, safe driving.

Car Video

While the car video devices’ range includes everything from basic in-dash DVD players to giant ceiling-mounted screens, the most comfortable viewing option for many car occupants is headrest monitors. With these devices in a vehicle, each passenger gets an opportunity to enjoy a personal monitor directly in front of them. TFT-LCD headrest monitors, LED monitors with built-in IR transmitter, and many other high-grade backseat systems are waiting for you to choose.

While being one of the most luxurious viewing options, headrest monitors are one of the most expensive as well. That is why there are plenty of other good alternatives such as ceiling-mounted monitors, aka roof mounted or flip down DVD players. Not only are they less expensive, but are considered to be the ultimate solution for big screen movie viewing as their common size ranges from 9 to 15" or even larger. Also, being mounted in the car ceiling, this type of player allows for many other entertainments such as music, mobile video, wireless game, and so on.

Another great ways to offer multimedia playback in an automobile without spending much money are sun visor and armrest DVD players, which are both convenient to operate and easy to install. Except for the standard functions that other DVD players offer, like watching movies, music videos, etc., these in-car gadgets make it possible for you to choose the level of brightness, color, and tint to achieve the most vivid picture quality.

Video Integration

For those who’re striving for a device that is easily moved from place to place in a car, a portable DVD player is the most suitable choice. While being less expensive than factory-installed gadgets, these supply much more advantages: they don’t require installation and are able to entertain not only in a car but also on a plane or anywhere else. The only downside portable DVD players have is that they come with small screens and are supposed to be hand held, which makes it tough for more than one passenger at a time to watch them.

A couple of warnings: 1. Although it isn't difficult to install, the installation instructions are in Japanese, and the pictures included do not match this unit. 2. This unit does NOT work with the FA632US head unit installed in the Limited BRZ. Despite the lack of English instructions, I had this unit installed in my BRZ Limited in less than 20 minutes. It's pretty easy, since it will really only fit one way. Although it comes with two switches, mine only had one adhesive pad in the package for mounting, but I never actually got that far. Once I got everything plugged in, I took it out on the road to test it and immediately noted that my navigation system was working very, very slowly. The map was refreshing so slowly that it was useless for navigating. When I attempted to test the functions of the bypass (navigation input while in motion), the NT6122 simply didn't work. The lockout was still there. While looking for troubleshooting information, I came across the following note on the Beat-Sonic website: "2013-2014 Subaru BRZ with FA601US or FA601US head unit only (FA632US head unit is not compatible)" So now I know. I'd like to be able to give this five stars, but I really don't know how well it works because I had to return it. If you have the Limited BRZ, don't waste your time.
