The GMC Sierra was introduced back in 1999, being developed as a mechanically identical sibling of the Silverado by Chevy. Overall, there exists a tradition for General Motors to create two similar trucks and market them under Chevy and GMC nameplates. The Sierra is available in the light-duty and heavy-duty version, in order to meet a wide spectrum of buyers’ needs. The original generation of this GMC truck was powered by a 4.3 L V6 engine or a series of V8 engines with the displacement being 4.8 L, 5.3 L, 6.0 L and 8.1 L.

Torsion bars are usually mounted between the frame of your Sierra and the vehicle’s suspension, and are basically the springs mounted longitudinally. Torsion bars quite often suffer due to rough roads and when the truck is overloaded, that is why it is recommended to keep an eye on the condition of these parts. In case you require new torsion bar mounts or any other parts, we’ve got you covered. Just take a look at our inventory of GMC Sierra torsion bars & components and select the products you need to work on your truck. We offer parts by leading brands, such as Anchor and MOOG, Centric and Westar at an affordable price.
