Product Details

Universal SideLoader Brackets (8008002) by Yakima®. These brackets enable Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers to be installed on camper shells, pickup bed caps and other applications without rain gutters. They're designed for applications where a tighter fit to the mounting surface is desired. If extra clearance is needed, Yakima WideBody Brackets should be used. Sold in sets of 2, they come with stainless steel hardware and instructions.

Installation

If you have a camper or pickup bed cap and you'd like to install a roof rack system, these brackets will allow you to install Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers to support the crossbars. They can also be used on just about any other application without existing rain gutters. The brackets, in effect, are artificial rain gutters and provide a rain gutter like surface for the towers to clamp on. They're designed for installation on steep surfaces where extra clearance is needed. The brackets extend outward further to make it possible to mount the crossbars closer to the roof.

WideBody Brackets come with quality stainless steel hardware that will never rust, and comprehensive installation instructions. The brackets are backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Pictures Are Deceiving
These bars come by themselves. The pictures show mounting brackets but are not included. No mounting hardware comes with it.

Overhaul HD by Yakima Install on 2019 Tacoma
Excellent craftsmanship! Install time short and simple. Rugged proportions eliminates flexing. Multiple tie down points make sense. Very satisfied with this product.

Best Load Bars Period!!!
I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with the bars mounted on yakima timberlines with a rola cargo rack and the these things are sturdy!! I also love the tie down ends and they look great!!! I would definitely recommend!!!!

Pleased
Bought it last week. Nice that it comes with the fitting kit. Good fit to my Avalanche. Very durable bars: maximum load capacity is 165 lbs, but I believe they would carry weight of 200 lbs without problems too!

Whispbar Fit Kit
The whispbar fit kit fits the car perfectly and looks great. Install instructions are good but not great. Watch a few YouTube videos beforehand and it'll be easy as pie. Whispbars once installed are very quiet once installed facing the right way. CARiD service and pricing was excellent. Shipping was in two shipments for the fit kit and bars. One required signature which kept getting returned so ensure your no signature if you want be around.
