With its ultra slim profile, the BigStack takes up the least amount of roof rack space, enabling you to carry up to 4 whitewater kayaks on their sides. Constructed from rugged steel tubing, with top of the line HullGuard™ padding to protect your boat during transport, the BigStack comes with heavy-duty tie-down straps and bow/stern tie-downs to safely secure your boat to the rack and vehicle, and the exclusive AnchorHead™ tie-down feature, which makes it easy to tie-down multiple kayaks. It comes with built-in universal mounting hardware that fits round, square, and factory crossbars, and it's optimized for aero bars. The BigStack is the perfect blend of strength and efficient design. It requires such small space on the roof rack crossbars for mounting, yet thanks to its SteelCore™ steel tube frame construction, it has the strength to secure up to 4 whitewater kayaks on your roof rack, resting on their sides. But along with strength the BigStack also has what's needed to protect your kayak, with top of the line HullGuard padding, with EVA foam for soft support. When not in use, the BigStack folds down, for better aerodynamics and more roof clearance for garaging.
The BigStack's built-in universal clamps are designed to make installation fast and easy on any type crossbar without tools, including round, square, factory, and aero. The design is optimized for aero bars. You get everything you need to secure your boat including heavy-duty tie-downs for attachment to the roof rack, and bow/stern tie-downs to secure the boat to the front and rear of your vehicle. All tie-downs have padded buckles to prevent damage to the boat and your vehicle. And when you're carrying multiple kayaks, the exclusive AnchorHead tie-down feature makes it easy to handle the straps.
SKS lock cores (not included) can be installed in the built-in crossbar mounts to deter theft. Comprehensive, illustrated installation and user instructions are included, and the BigStack is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
