Willpak Industries

The year 2011 marked the 35th anniversary of Willpak's foundation. Established in Oakville, Canada, Willpak Industries Inc. has been servicing its customers in the US, South America, and Europe as well. Willpak's product line include Astra/Hammond automotive accessories, such as aluminum and ABS rear window louvers, side window scoops, revolutionary Touchless car covers, and a ton of other molded items for cars, trucks, and vans.

The current product range is not the limit, and Willpak's commitment to manufacturing more products with the same excellent quality in mind is almost unbelievable. By the way, the company has always been very active in trade shows. For example, the 2010 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas made Willpak a proud owner of the Global Media Award for its great Touchless car cover. Furthermore, the same SEMA Show exhibited the fully customized 2010 Camaro that, among other awesome upgrades, was equipped with Willpak's rear window louver in smooth ABS.

If the Camaro, Challenger, or Mustang is the king of your garage, then Willpak has Astra/Hammond louvers specially for you. This accessory will visually enhance the performance look of your car while minimizing interior temperature. Since the 60s until the 80s, rear window louvers were a very popular accessory for the 'fastback' cars, and now you can have the same styling for today's high-performance sedans and coupes. The accessories are available in either black textured or smooth black ABS, or matte black aluminum finish.

But don't stop there! Take your vehicle back to the golden age of muscle cars with a set of Willpak side window louvers. These custom fitted C-pillar accessories thermoformed from a durable black ABS material can be simply placed over the existing glass with the supplied 3M double-sided tape. Alternatively, you can get Willpak side window scoops coming with a black grille insert for easy installation. Additionally, Willpak offers universal Astra/Hammond hood scoops designed to fit most cars, SUVs, and trucks. The side skirts for your Dodge Challenger will add a smooth and sleek accent to its sides while the chin spoilers will make its front look more aggressive. Being distinctly different from the sea of other accessories, Willpak products will take your vehicle's look to a whole new level.

Stay Classic and Choose Aluminum
if you can afford it, don't go polymer - especially if you have a Shaker scoop that's aluminum; this louver is very complementary to the '70s aesthetic of custom car fabrication; its light and simple bent-metal, riveted construction looks like something you had made by a skillful metal shop instead of a mass-produced product which it is; no issue with design, build quality and finish - but let's talk installation and security; the post plates that you attach to the glass to secure the louver to the window uses strips of 3M tape that are a bear to deal with; I estimate I spent more time trying to peel off the tape backing than any other phase of the installation! Very tedious! I then covered the exposed 3M tape with strips of freezer paper (much easier to remove) so I could position the louver with precision during my one-man installation; success! Now consider security - you just spend hundreds of dollars on an accessory someone can lift off your car without any tools; I've since purchased #10-32 (tpi) tri-groove security nuts and the corresponding socket to lock this down because the plastic finger nuts supplied with the kit are asking for trouble; BTW, anyone selling this item used without the mounting plates is selling a stolen product, just saying; good product; would be excellent if they made the backing tape easier to deal with and provided security nuts instead of common fasteners.
