New vehicle buyers often have a choice of over a dozen exterior colors, and some models can be had with two-tone paint schemes or with different color stripes. And of course, if you’re having your car, truck, or SUV painted, you can choose from a veritable rainbow of colors. Yet, even after agonizing over color charts to get just the right paint for the body, most owners will let their prized machines roll on ordinary chrome, polished, or black wheels. Shouldn’t the tone of the rims be just as important as the tint of the sheet metal, and just as colorful? There’s no need to settle for what everyone else has when you shop with us. While the degree of customization will vary according to specific wheel design and manufacturer, we can accommodate just about any color or finish, or combination of colors/finishes you can imagine, from subdued graphite and grays to flamboyant shades of red, regal gold to bright white, and many more. With some wheels you have a choice of a single color for the entire wheel, or an element of the wheel like the face, which may be combined with a black or chrome outer lip, while other wheels may be available with a choice of different colors and finishes for multiple wheel facets, including the center, inner lip and outer lip, as well as bolt and pinstripe color. You may have a choice of color for a single wheel facet, like spoke inserts, or in addition to color choice a selection of custom flange millings may be offered. The many color and finish options available come on an immense variety of wheel designs from which to choose. We offer rims in a large assortment of spoke shapes and patterns, wheel face and lip configurations, and degrees of concavity, in steel, and cast aluminum, flow form aluminum and forged aluminum. Cast wheels are available in monoblock (1-piece) and 2-piece construction, while forged wheels are available in monoblock, 2-piece, and 3-piece configurations. These come in diameters from 14” to 34” in all popular bolt patterns and in a range of widths, offsets, and backspacing. With such a vast number of possible wheel configurations you’ll have no problems finding rims that will fit your ride and provide the look you want, whether you want to stay with the OE size or go larger.

Whatever color or combination of colors and finish treatments you select, you can count on a durable finish that won’t chip, flake or peel, ensuring your enjoyment of that great look for years to come. All our wheel manufacturers have ultra-modern machining, wheel painting and powder coating facilities that employ leading edge technology and equipment. Colored wheels can be painted and then clear coated for protection or powder coated. In the powder coating process, dry paint is applied to the wheel, which is grounded, using an electrostatic spray gun that applies a positive charge to the powder as it is sprayed, ensuring complete coverage. The wheel is then heated to bake on the finish and turn it into a hard, durable coating.

The strength and durability of our aftermarket wheels goes deeper than just the finish. All are made with the highest quality materials using the latest manufacturing techniques. The wheel center on a steel wheel is formed from high strength steel that is stamped, drawn and machined for hub fitment, brake clearance and cooling, and then welded to a thick rolled or spun high strength steel barrel. A cast wheel begins as molten aluminum that has been alloyed with other metals to increase strength, which is then put into a mold under pressure to form the wheel. A flow form wheel is created from an aluminum casting that is heated and spun while rollers apply great pressure to the barrel, mechanically elongating the barrel to the desired width, while at the same time changing the mechanical properties and grain structure of the cast rim, increasing strength and stiffness, and reducing weight. Once cast and flow form wheels cool they undergo final machining and finishing.

A solid chunk of premium aluminum billet is used to create a forged wheel. The metal is heated and forced into shape using extreme pressure, and then finish machined to its final form. Forging compresses the metal so it is very dense, resulting in a wheel that is exceptionally stiff and strong, but also very light. Cast alloy wheels are lighter than steel, flow form wheels are lighter still, and forged rims are the lightest of all. Lighter wheels reduce unsprung weight, making it easier for your suspension to keep the tires in contact with the road, so you get the road holding traction you need. Rotational inertia is also reduced, for more responsive steering and faster braking and acceleration.
