V2 Hyper Round Tapered Red Air Filter (814-111-102) by Weapon-R®. Weapon-R Dragon Intake Systems are among the most desired and highly rated performance intakes worldwide. Used for various racing events and top-performing applications, Dragon Intake Systems help to achieve the highest functionality without any harm to the engine.

Weapon-R Intake Systems are CNC Mandrel bent from the 6061 aluminum and hand-tig-welded to guarantee the precise match and a positive seal. As the result Dragon Intake Systems take numerous prizes at intake system contests. One of them is a "Best Overall Performer", outperforming Cold Air & Short Ram Intake systems, in the 2003 Tuner Performance Reports. Every Weapon-R intake system is carefully tuned to fit the motors displacement, air intake capacity and airspeed of the intake systems. WR Ram Air Kit converts any Intake system into a Ram Air Intake. Ram Air Technology is an technique to produce a cold air intake charge into the engine, to get more free. Raw Naturally Aspirated HP.

The components in the Ram Air kit are all computer designed and made from a high temp fire resistant plastic, to resist heat soak which robs horsepower from your engine. It's simple to install this unit, you just connect the hose to the top of your Air Filter and mount the velocity stack in the lower part of the grill and attach the hose.

Special adapters are available in several colors as an option with the Dragon filter.

Dragon Filter Heat Shield. Complete your intake system with the Dragon filter heat shield. This Shield bolts directly to the top of your Dragon Filter, and completely shields the filter from any heat to create additional Horsepower. To further complement your intake system you can attach the hose from your Ram Air Kit to the top of the Shield to achieve a enclosed direct Cold Ram Air Charge to your engine. This Dragon Filter Heat Shield is made of heat resistant plastics to resist any Heat soak, which may occur in daily driving.

It's Ok

The air filter added a little power to my car since it's only a 1.8 L engine. It also has a whistling sound which is kind of nice. The shipping and handling did take a week though. A lot of credit goes to the online agents who severally returned my emails and tried to assist me as much as possible, great customer service.

The rubber sleave was a little long had to trim about 1/2 inch for it to sit on the lip
