One of the hallmarks of the aftermarket air filters that come with performance air intakes is that they can be washed and reused when they get dirty, instead of requiring replacement like the paper air filters on OE air intake systems. But even the best made filters can become worn or damaged, especially from extreme or heavy-duty use. If the filter on your performance air intake is worn, torn or punctured, we have the replacement that will provide the same airflow and filtration for maximum performance and superior engine protection.

The air filters in performance air intake kits are made of cotton gauze and/or synthetic filtration material, which flows air much better than OE paper. And because they trap dirt throughout the depth of the filtering element, instead of it collecting on the surface like paper, you get consistently superior air flow, even as the filter collects dirt. Along with better materials, performance filters have much more surface area compared to the OE filter, enabling them to funnel a greater volume of air into your engine.

Along with the larger diameter and smooth bends of the intake tube, the high-flow features of the air filter are an integral part of your performance air intake kit, and you don’t have to sacrifice any airflow or filtration capabilities with a substandard filter or have to buy another complete intake kit if your intake’s original filter becomes worn or damaged.
