ALTA Performance is a prominent company known for high-grade MINI Cooper products on today's automotive market. It manufactures a wide assortment of components designed to significantly boost the performance of the MINI. ALTA Performance utilizes the highest quality materials to make top-notch exhaust, ignition, air intake, and suspension parts as well as intercoolers, pulleys, and many more Alta products which will meet customer demands.

The foundation of the company dates back to 1996 when its owner Adam Taft started to sell import performance parts from his parents' business office situated in Beaverton OR. Two years later Adam rented space in a small retail in an industrial park. That was the first time when ALTA Performance got employees and inventory. Later it became the premier Honda tuning and aftermarket specialist in the Portland area under the ALTA Sports name.

In 2002 ALTA Performance began to offer aftermarket Subaru products. These products were so popular that the company dropped all other ones. After the incorporation of PERRIN and ALTA Performance, the latter began to create some Subaru parts under the PERRIN brand name. The business grew and ALTA added several vehicle lines such as the EVO and Scion. The company was the first to design a two piece, taper fit Mini Cooper Supercharger Pulley (V1). Today the company offers the first generation pulleys designed to add 20+ Wheel HP to the MINI Cooper.

The first generation of Alta cold air intake systems is designed to reduce inlet air temperatures enabling a cooler and more dense air charge as well as increasing torque and horsepower while the second generation cold air intakes also unlock the sound from your turbo. ALTA Performance also makes premium R53 cat-back exhaust systems which both sound and look great while operating the way the factory system should have. Moreover, the company offers a complete line of the second generation turbo accessories, including boost port adapters, compressor recirculation valves, and more.
